I don't know if you are familiar with the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_(psychology)" rel="nofollow">Flow</a> concept of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mihaly_Csikszentmihalyi" rel="nofollow">Csikszentmihalyi</a>, but it looks like you were applying it.
