I assume you meant that intuition is how the drivers there are avoiding winding up in a pile of wreckage? You did not say it quite that way. Thanks for your comment. Lexi Patricia,

You reminded me of my 2 trips to India. No way am I brave enough to even attempt to drive on my own there. Add blaring horns to your experience and you have some idea of what driving in India is like. You pray to finally get out of town onto a little country road. In India, you have blaring horns that are used to say Hello, Goodbye, I am coming through, Look out, Get out of my way, all at the same time. Everyone honks. You will find buses packed to overflowing, cars of all shapes and sizes and vintage, bicycles, motor scooters with up to 3 passengers riding it, and various types of motorized rickshaws. In towns, there are usually 2 lanes going one way but nobody stays in their lanes. I would have been terrified of American drivers in this situation. In India, I felt exhilarated and laughed a lot. I very quickly realized that by intuition was the only way that these drivers were all winding up in a crumbled pile of wreckage. I was in India 3 1/2 weeks for each of my 2 visits. I only saw 2 accidents in that 7 week period. I cannot imagine Americans trying to drive that way. It was an incredible experience that I will always cherish. Thanks for reminding me.
